My Story
Hi, I’m Tara and I joined Scentsy June 2018. I work full time, but love to unwind from a busy day by cuddling up with my dog, a movie and my favorite fragrance filling my home.
I’ll be honest, when I was first asked I said I’d rather just buy all the smelly products instead. A business sounded like too much work. I didn’t want to sell or feel like I was being pushy. I even thought it was some sort of scammy pyramid scheme.
After saying no a few times and feeling super awkward about it each time, I gave it some thought. Why not get a discounted kit of goodies, get cash back on some purchases, and quit after the free trial of website ended?
I was already spending money on the product and thought I might as well get paid on it for a little while. So I did, but you might have noticed it’s been a few years now and I’m still sharing Scentsy.
So why am I still here? I truly enjoy the products, I always have, and they keep coming out with more goodies than I can imagine. I’m still getting paid each month, which especially now, every little bit has helped immensely. I’ve met some amazinggg ladies who honestly have been there for me in more aspects of life than just business. We’ve had some really cool trips with TONS of laughs along the way. I realized I didn’t have to be a pushy salesperson, but I could just share what I actually enjoy and how I use it.
If you asked me to join again today I’d say go for it, I’ve spent more on sillier things.
